Mar Lee Basketball Court – Follow-Up Project
Support Maintenance of Sanderson Gulch Trail
alongside Denver Parks & Rec!
What to expect
Join CYL on June 25th from 9am - 12pm to support the maintenance of Sanderson Gulch Trail in the Mar Lee neighborhood!
If you served with us in April for part 1 of this project, join us for part 2 of this project to continue investing in the community by maintaining the trail around the newly renovated basketball court!
Here are some of the activities:
- Volunteers will remove debris along the trail
- Spread crusher fines
- Rake pine needles away from trees.
- Chalk art to beautify the basketball court
- "Knockout" and "HORSE" to celebrate a job well done!
Your support will help ensure that the Sanderson Gulch Trail remains beautiful and well maintained!
CYL will provide
- Water
- Snacks
- Hand sanitizer
- Work gloves if you need some
What to bring / wear
- Water bottle
- Wear sturdy shoes (close-toed shoes)
- Wear layers that you don't mind getting dirty
- Sun protection including sunscreen, hat, sunglasses
- Work gloves if you have some
- Your signed DPR waiver should be completed in advance and can be done here!
- Bring a basketball if you have one!
Denver Parks & Rec. has provided a port-a-potty on site at the basketball court. The next closest bathroom is at Harvey Park.
