Plant Trees along the Highline Canal

PLANT TREES ALONG THE HIGHLINE CANAL 

Join CYL in partnership with the High Line Canal Conservancy for a tree planting program on Saturday, October 28 from 9:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. along the Canal at Milliken Park!

What to expect: We will be planting trees along the corridor to support the ecological health of the Canal. No prior training or experience is needed to participate in this planting program — you will receive all the on-the-job training required. Please keep in mind that planting can be physically intensive work (involving bending and digging holes).

Please bring:

• Water
• Gardening gloves if you have some, otherwise we will provide gloves.
• Wear closed-toe shoes and clothing suitable for gardening.
