Description

Information Session about Youth-led Community Clean-Ups!

CYL is funding ten (10) Young Leaders in starting their own small community clean-up's in thei neighborhoods!

Already applied, and have questions about your project? Need help getting started? Want some more information before you get going?

Join CYL's Program Coordinator, Flora, this Thursday (2/9) from 6-7pm for an information session about CYL's CALC-funded youth-led community clean up projects!

Information about these grant-funded community-clean ups:

These small grant funds will help put the power in your hands to support a cleaner neighborhood. The goal of these funds are to support your community's needs to create a "quick win" project that makes it safer, easier, and/or more fun to use active transportation and be active in Denver.

Each Young Leader will receive trash clean-up materials, snacks, a how-to guide in creating their own trash clean-up, and a small gift card for any other materials needed. The youth leader whose team collects the most trash will receive a gift card in recognition of their hard work! Additionally, we are incentivizing young people who make their projects directly in their neighborhood to limit the need to drive to the project site.

Priority neighborhoods include: Green Valley Ranch, Mar Lee, Montbello, Park Hill, and Berkeley, but youth projects hosted in other neighborhoods are still encouraged to apply.

Funds can only be distributed for those taking place in the City of Denver.
