Join other young people in your community who are passionate about being changemakers. Want to make a difference in your community in a unique way but not sure how? This is the first step. Open to all high school students!
What to expect: CYL is action-oriented. In these meetings, you will be able to work with other high school students to identify the issues popping up in your community and learn skills and new ways to address positive change through service and action. You will also be able to discuss tools for understanding your own leadership strengths, meet other teens who are passionate about changing their communities, and be welcomed into a supportive environment.
Each meeting will include energizing activities to dig deep into who you are, how your identities support your leadership and what's going on around the world.
Starting in January, you will get the chance to work together as a chapter to create, activate, and implement a specialized service and leadership action to grow community support and advocate for youth-led change in a topic of your choice.
