Description of event:
The National Sports Center for the Disabled (NSCD)’s Colorado Rockies Ability Clinic, runs in partnership with the Colorado Rockies baseball team, engaging participants with physical and/or cognitive disabilities (approx. 100 youth) in an adaptive baseball sports experience.
Participants will rotate through hands-on skills stations that teach participants all the elements of the sport. Program volunteers, with guidance from the team coaches and players, will assist participants in learning and engaging in adaptive baseball (no skill needed).
