CYL Virtual Workshop
We get it. Sometimes we get stuck on what to do about climate change. It can feel so complicated and out of reach to make a change. This workshop is designed to address that. We will talk through the power you have as a young person and how to use that power to make a difference locally, regionally and globally. You will hear from experts in the field of climate policy to hear what’s going on now and how you can take action now. You may also learn different career pathways to think more long-term. Bring your questions! This will be interactive to address short term and long term solutions to change, and how your unique skills can contribute to your path of activism!
Who should join? This is an introductory workshop for youth all across the state to learn about how to take direct action to create solutions to address climate change. Anyone who is interested in climate change, policy, awareness, the environment, sustainability, or just taking the first step in getting involved should join!
