After much anticipation, the Decalibron Loop peaks are finally back open! Thanks to the hard work and effort put in by Colorado Mountain Club, we can continue our CYL tradition of hiking the Decalibron Loop, made up of Mts. Democrat, Cameron, Lincoln and Bross.
We invite Colorado Young Leaders, family members, and community members to join us to hike 1, 2, or 3 14,000 foot peaks to kickoff the school year and CYL programming! We also have a shorter lake loop hike available for those interested in joining in on the fun, but aren't ready for a "14er." We welcome you to join us to camp the night prior for CYLers and their families, or meet us at the trailhead at 7AM on Sunday, September 12th. The Decalibron Loop is an important element to CYLers as it represents the journey that high school students go on during their time in high school. To learn more and to opt into the summit program, please go here.
Trip Fees:
$10 for hiking only (Sunday only)
$25 for camping + hiking (Saturday/Sunday)
*Note: Mt. Bross access is closed and we will not be able to hike all 4 peaks this year so that we can be great leaders in the community, and be good stewards of the land we hike on.
