Food Market Volunteer with Metro Caring
Join us at Metro Caring in downtown Denver to sort incoming food, assist with customer service, pack food boxes, and provide general warehouse support. As Colorado's leading frontline anti-hunger organization, Metro Caring works with the community to meet people’s immediate need for nutritious food while building a movement to address the root causes of hunger. This is a great opportunity for those interested in addressing food insecurities in Denver. They are also taking regular volunteers, so come check out if this is the right spot for you!
Wear closed-toe shoes and bring layers––the warehouse gets chilly in the winter!

How to sign your waiver:
In your profile, select "qualifications" and complete your waiver. Once you have completed your portion, it will be sent to your parent/guardian. Please make sure they complete this step - sometimes it ends up in spam so check there first before reaching out to us! If you're having issues with your waiver, please contact Flora. Once you complete your waiver, you're covered for an entire year!
