Volunteer for Lake Appreciation Day
Join us for Lake Appreciation Day at Cherry Creek State Park! Join Cherry Creek State Park staff, volunteers and other community members to work together to clean up the park!
These projects usually consist of a shoreline clean up of trash, debris and fishing lines and/or cutting invasive Mullein weeds that are prevalent throughout the park.
The service project portion is open to everyone and usually runs from around 8:00AM to 12:00PM. After the service project is lunch provided to volunteers by the park (12:00 PM-1:00PM).
Cherry Creek State Park is a special ecosystem with lots of plants and wildlife close to the city and it needs some love to keep it beautiful!
