Podcast Artwork Contest
Colorado Young Leaders (CYL) and Youth on Record (YOR) is launching an art contest for Generation Collaboration, a collaborative podcast with Colorado Young Leaders (CYL) and Youth on Record (YOR). Generation Collaboration is a youth-initiative podcast focusing on a range of social and cultural themes through an intergenerational lens to enhance the power of youth leadership. This podcast was created to amplify the tremendous leadership of youth and youth development organizations across the state of Colorado.
We are seeking submissions for artwork for season 2, to be released starting in September 2023. If your artwork is selected, it will be featured on Apple Podcasts, Spotify and other podcast platforms as the main image for the podcast on external platforms. You will also be granted a prize of $250!
What should I create?
The artwork should represent the essence of the podcast: generational collaboration and can include themes such as connection, inclusion, positive social change, using your voice, and more. It should be attention-grabbing and colorful. It should avoid small intricate designs and/or text as that will not be as visible in such a small image.
For inspiration, consider listening to season one of Generation Collaboration on Spotify or Apple Podcasts.
How to submit
Please submit your artwork for submission by emailing lauren@coloradoyoungleaders.org by July 1st. Your artwork should be submitted in .jpg or .png format, 3000x3000px high-resolution recommended.
Once your artwork has been submitted, it will go through a selection process. The top 3 selections will be posted on Colorado Young Leaders social media for voting. If you have any questions about your submission, please contact Lauren Steavpack at lauren@coloradoyoungleaders.org.
