Apply to be a part of Voices of Healing's Participatory Action Research project!
Voices of Healing is currently recruiting young people who identify as racially marginalized and/or youth organizers to join a Participatory Action Research (PAR) project, called Our Stories, Our Healing, with youth and adult staff from partner organizations across the Front Range. The purpose of the project is to study how people connect their activism with healing and develop a framework as a resource for educators and youth organizations.
This is a compensated project! Youth who participate will be awarded $500 for their time and effort.
Who should apply?
- Youth ages 15-23 who identify as racially marginalized or Youth of Color who live in Denver, Aurora, or Lafayette
- Youth organization staff under 30 who work in the same organization as the young people who are applying
- Youth will be compensated $500 and our PAR team will complete the project between February 5th - March 12th. Required meetings will take place on two Saturday half-days (Feb 11th and Feb 25th) and one weekday evening per week.
- You will be expected to complete some assignments between meetings.
