Calling Youth Changemakers to Join Us for Youth Climate Lobby 2/20
We’re welcoming youth climate activists and all youth interested in creating change to join us for the 1st Colorado Youth Climate Lobby Day on February 20th, 2026, co-hosted by multiple grassroots organizations!
We’re calling on youth from across Colorado (elementary to college age) to meet their legislators and advocate for bills that reduce emissions and promote solutions to the climate crisis. This opportunity allows youth to learn more about policy change, the legislative process, and how we can use our voices to influence decision-makers.
Friday, February 20th, 8am-12pm is Climate Lobby Day!
- 8:00am - 9:00am: Check-In
- 9:00am -10:00am 'How to Lobby' crash course, and overview of bills at the First Baptist Church of Denver (1373 Grant Street, Denver, CO 80203)
- 10:00am - 12:00pm: Head over to the Capitol Building to speak with our Colorado lawmakers, urging them to pass legislation to reduce emissions and promote solutions to the climate crisis!
- 12pm: Mid Day Meet and wind down for the day or continue meeting with legislators as needed.
