Young Advocates Program at a Glance: 

What: This unique hands-on leadership development program trains young people to engage in their community around major issues that impact our generations. 

Who: The Young Advocates Program is open to young adults ages 18-34 who live or attend school in California, Colorado, Illinois, New York, and Texas.

When: September 13 - December 6. The time commitment involves weekly meetings and hourly time between meetings to work on projects.
 
Why: Our Young Advocates are passionate about YI’s mission and are interested in building power among young adults to effect positive change in their communities.
