The University of Colorado is offering a FREE Engineering Summer Bridge program that will help students overcome math challenges and prepare them for an exciting engineering career. This program is for students who have graduated high school (or will graduate by this June), and are curious about engineering, but have not yet reached calculus readiness.
The program runs from July 15 to August 8 (Monday through Thursday; no class on Friday), from 9:30 am-3:00 pm; students can choose to attend the program at the Community College of Aurora or at the Community College of Denver.
During the program, students will:
Learn the fundamentals of math and engineering from expert instructors
Meet and network with other aspiring engineers and mentors
Explore different engineering disciplines and career opportunities
Learn about the resources available at community college, including financial aid, academic support, and university transfer
And here’s the best part: Students can earn $1,500 for completing the program!
**Students do need to be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident.
