What We Do
What We Do
Mental Health
Joy as Resistance offers comprehensive mental health care services to LGBTQIA+ youth, aged 10-24. We are actively building multiple delivery models in order to meet the diverse needs of our clients and community and ensure our services are available and accessible to all who need them.
We offer one on one services, group services, and family consultation for supportive allies/friends/family members of LGBTQ+ youth. We accept many types of insurance and charge for session on a sliding scale basis dependent on what each family/client can afford (including free).
School/Nonprofit Partnerships
Joy as Resistance offers a supportive one on one approach to support schools, districts, and nonprofits. We provide a menu of services on an MOU and contract basis.
