What We Do
Saving the Wild American Burro is a nonprofit serving as the voice and advocating for the wild Burro by providing care, proper relationship building, and educational resources that help promote a training environment for the local burro community as well.
During this service adventure participants will be working on projects on the 190 acre ranch that might include:
- Feeding the burros
- Caring for the pens by clearing a 3-4 acre pasture of metal and nails
- Learn how to lead and care for the burros
- Option to learn how to get acquainted with saddle trainings
- Learn how to put lead ropes on burros and lead them through on a short obstacle course for burro mental development training
