Join Colorado Young Leaders for an unforgettable day of service and adventure at Cal-Wood Education Center!
Volunteers will serve alongside Volunteers for Outdoor Colorado and spend the day helping with hands-on camp maintenance projects that support outdoor education programs and help keep this incredible mountain property welcoming for future campers and students.
From meaningful service projects to time spent enjoying the fresh mountain air, this is a great opportunity to serve, connect, and experience the outdoors alongside other Young Leaders and families.
When:
Friday, July 31, 2026 - 9 - 4 pm
What We’ll Do:
Volunteers will work together on a variety of camp improvement and maintenance projects that support Cal-Wood’s outdoor education programs and facilities.
Projects may include:
- General camp maintenance and cleanup
- Outdoor improvement projects
- Organizing and preparing camp spaces for future programs
- Assisting staff with property upkeep and beautification
What to Bring:
- Comfortable clothes appropriate for outdoor work
- Closed-toe shoes
- Water bottle
- Sunscreen
- Lunch & Snacks to keep you going
