Help Build a Community Cultural Calendar!
with Hayley and the Mizel Institute
We are seeking passionate volunteers to join CYL's Outreach Manager Hayley and the Mizel Museum on site at a local festival to help create a group community calendar that celebrates Denver’s cultural diversity through the community sharing of festivals and ceremonies from around the world!
Join us for a special event led by the Mizel Museum Staff as part of our "Bridges of Cultural Understanding: Ceremonies & Festivals" program at Four Mile Historic Park's Pumpkin Harvest Festival. This program brings awareness to the traditions and celebrations that make our communities unique. This interactive activity will take festival participants on a journey across cultures, exploring seasonal holidays and celebrations through engaging stories and hands-on activities.
Volunteers will help curate and organize the calendar helping to foster connections across different cultures with festival participants. Your efforts will grow understanding and appreciation for the traditions that bring us together, building awareness of the similarities and differences that make Denver's cultural landscape so special.
