Serve by: Being a Buddy for an Adaptive Baseball Athlete
Serve with Miracle League of Metro Denver
Come play ball with some incredible athletes!
What to expect: You will be working directly with Miracle League of Metro Denver supporting a player or team playing in a recreational or competitive adaptive league. Some of the players need assistance with all aspects of baseball, some need very little more than cheering. Either way, your presence makes all of the difference in the world!
There are two leagues for you to volunteer with:
Recreational league: for players who need more support (each player gets a volunteer buddy)
Competitive league: for players who are more independent and desire a more competitive environment (you can coach, support the teams, announce for the games, etc).
In both leagues, players can hit off a tee or have a coach pitcher throw the ball. We play on a field that has a rubberized surface, the only of its kind in Colorado, that makes getting around easy for any of our wheelchair or visually impaired participants.
How to sign up to volunteer:
1. Learn more about the roles HERE and sign up to secure your volunteering role through Miracle League here: SIGN UP FORM
2. Respond on this site for the days you registered as a volunteer (so you can track your hours on this site)
3. Show up, serve, and have fun!
4. Come back to this site to track your hours and reflections.
Note: there might be more spots available on the Miracle League site than we post on our page.
