At CYL we aim to amplify the great work done in the community by our partners and share awesome ways for teens to serve. We encourage you to participate on your own, or with friends and family, but a CYL staff member will not be in attendance.

Support Schweiger Ranch Events
As a living history museum and working ranch, Schweiger Ranch is home to chickens and goats, as small representation of ranch life in the late 1800’s and early 1900’s. Special care and attention is required to maintain the property, historic buildings and care for the animals. Volunteers assist with minor maintenance and care of buildings, grounds and animal areas.
Ranch Cleanups (once a month)
Minimum age is 16 yrs unless volunteering with a parent

August 20th
9:00-11:00 | Ranch Cleanup
5:00-8:30 pm | Campfire Event – special event help. Assist with minor setup, greeter/guest check-in. During the event, enjoy the program with our guests, then assist with the minor cleanup and tear down. | Max volunteers: 4
September 17th
9:00-11:00 | Ranch Cleanup
October 1st
8:00-10:30 am | Lone Tree Day of Service/Schweiger Ranch Cleanup Day
Kick off the event with the City of Lone Tree, then assist Schweiger Ranch with minor projects | Max volunteers: 10
Respond to your preferred shifts and you will be connected to Tamra via email and receive the waiver that needs to be filled out before your first day on the farm.
