These service opportunities are brought to you by CYL's nonprofit partnership network. There's so much GOOD happening in our community and we can't be everywhere, so we aim to amplify the great work done in the community by our partners and share unique ways for you to serve.

Independent opportunities are a chance for you to serve...well, independently! We encourage you to bring friends and family with you, but opportunities like these may require you to practice your leadership skills of initiative, communication, and commitment!

This is an individual service opportunity brought to you by CYL's nonprofit partnership network. At CYL we aim to amplify the great work done in the community by our partners and share awesome ways for teens to serve. We encourage you to participate on your own, or with friends and family, but a CYL staff member will not be in attendance.

Cuddles and Cleaning Sheep at The Urban Farm

This opportunity is run by The Urban Farm

Volunteers will be mucking pens, refilling waters, walking sheep, and cleaning barns.

Horticulture Volunteer Day: Saturday, 8/13
When: 9:00 am - 11:00 am
Who: Ages 10+ *

*An adult must accompany volunteers under the age of 15.

Protocols:

Sign-up is required.
Masks are not required. If you are uncomfortable working near others without masks we will arrange a socially distanced task for you!

Friendly Reminders:

Wear/bring sunscreen
Wear closed-toed shoes
Bring a water bottle
Annual Waiver must be completed prior to entering the property
You are on a farm and may get dirty so dress accordingly!
