This year's FAN EXPO is July 4th-7th.
Pop Culture Classroom is FAN EXPO Denver's featured charity. Pop Culture Classroom's mission is to inspire a love of learning, increase literacy, celebrate diversity and build community through the tools of popular culture and the power of self-expression. FAN EXPO Denver is the ultimate go-to event for sci-fi, horror, anime, and gaming event in Denver that attracts hundreds of thousands of people at the Colorado Convention Center.
Every year, FAN EXPO Denver offers exciting family-friendly attractions, events, and world-renowned Celebrities! Previous Guests include Jason Momoa, Millie Bobby Brown, Nathan Fillion, William Shatner, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, David Tennant, Dave Bautista, Zachary Levi, and stars from hit TV shows & Film: Stranger Things, The Walking Dead, Star Trek, and many, many more.
Everyone is a fan of something, and FAN EXPO Denver is a place to celebrate all things pop culture. Get an autograph or a photo with your favorite guest then get the inside scoop about your favorite movies and TV shows at our celebrity panels! Watch professional comic artists battle it out in our popular Sketch Duels, learn from our “How To” workshops, and take photos with your favorite costumed characters!
**You can attend the fan expo after or before your volunteer shift! Keep in mind that you will need to sign up for at least 2 volunteer shifts to be able to attend both days of the expo. They can be on separate dates or consecutive! If you are only able to volunteer for a single shift we greatly appreciate you and you are welcome to keep your badge for the day in which you volunteer.
Mandatory FAN EXPO Training

Mandatory training for volunteering at FAN EXPO Denver 2024. Come and learn about our programming for this year, how we are navigating the 4-day show, and what you will be helping us with at the convention! You will have a choice of between 10am-1 pm or 2-5pm on 6/22.

How to sign up for a volunteer shift(s):
1. Respond to this opportunity on this page so you can comeback and track your hours.
2. Go to their sign up page to see and secure your shifts and training spot: FAN EXPO VOLUNTEER SHIFT SIGN UP ***As a general reminder, any adult volunteering with us is required to have a background check, and any minor under 16 needs to have a guardian volunteer with them. When anyone from CYL signs up leave a note on your registration saying "CYL" for them to know that they do not need to request a background check for you.
3. Show, serve, and have fun!
