Join Give5 Denver, and Reach Out and Read Colorado for a rewarding day of volunteering to help give young children a strong start through the power of books! Come make a hands-on impact by organizing and stickering donated books, assembling assorted book boxes for distribution, and supporting early literacy in your community.
Schedule
10:00 Introduction to our program and our impact on the community
10:45 Tour/collect books from our office to bring to the sorting stations
11:00 Break
11:30 Book sorting, stickering, and packing
12:45 Wrap-up and take group photo
In addition to volunteering, you can help by collecting gently used children’s books. We are looking for any books for children that are nearly new or gently used! These books will be shared with families throughout the state to build home libraries.
