* CYL SERVICE ADVENTURE *
Adaptive ski trips are back! We're excited to partner with the Breckenridge Outdoor Education Center (BOEC) to offer a unique opportunity for you to contribute to your community while doing something you love on the slopes. You will be trained as a volunteer adaptive ski or snowboard instructor during these trips. You will need to be comfortable skiing or riding on greens and groomed blues in order to participate to be able to best serve on lessons. You will serve as a shadow and support for BOEC ski or snowboard instructors - they'll help you out!
Want to learn how to ski? Check out the Learn to Ski trip happening in March!

Your Unique Leadership
Student leaders should demonstrate the ability to be respectful of others, open-minded in their views, and courageous in their ability to step outside of their comfort zone. Serving at Breckenridge Outdoor Education Center is an incredibly powerful experience. We ask that all student leaders learn as much as they can about people with disabilities, including proper vocabulary, prior to the trip. Consider attending our disability awareness and adaptive sports workshop to best prepare.
