Join us for our 9th Annual Colorado Young Leaders 14er Decalibron Loop Hike!
The Decalibron is back open!!!!
Join Colorado Young Leaders to hike the Decalibron Loop - Mt. Democrat, Cameron, Lincoln and Bross! We do this hike in CYL because it's a metaphor for the challenge our leaders face. 14ers are both a mental and physical challenge. A day of hiking requires you to check in with yourself and with others; it's a place for you to step out of your comfort zone to try something new and to challenge yourself beyond what you thought you could do. You also realize the support you have around you, and gives you practice asking for help. Just like in life, 14ers ask you to rely on others and to work together to achieve an established goal. Even if you're not an experienced hiker, we want to see you on the mountain!
You have an option to go on a short lake hike or hike 1, 2, 3 or all 4 14,000 foot peaks!
Explore what success looks like for you, as we encourage you to challenge yourself and step out of your comfort zone in a supportive environment.
More Information
Transportation provided. Camping gear available upon request including tent, sleeping bag, sleeping pad.
Meals provided including dinner on 26th (for campers), breakfast, lunch and snacks on the 27th. We do our best to accommodate all dietary needs, but we recommend bringing some of your favorite hiking snacks as well!
A more detailed packing list will be sent out upon your registration but make sure to have the following: hiking boots with tread and ankle support, rain jacket or windbreaker, comfortable backpack to hold your belongings, trekking poles (optional but recommended).

$50 for campers and hikers
$25 for hikers only
