* CYL LEADERSHIP EVENT * 

Join the Northwest Denver CYL Chapter for a youth-led virtual kickoff for Sustainability Month! An expert panelist will be speaking on important topics about Environmental Justice through the lens of the world, community and self. We will address climate change and global issues in a way that is equitable for all communities. Join us as we work towards making sustainability accessible to all.
 
Speakers: 
 
Chloe Halloway: Chloe is the founder of Minorities in Climate Action, a nonprofit propelling the environmental justice movement through education and innovation. MICA was founded through the United Nations Academic Millennium Fellowship where she was the Campus Director for the University of Pittsburgh. Minorities in Climate Action goal this summer is to educate, empower others to educate their communities, and create a project by the end of the summer.
Diamond Spratling: Diamond is an impact-driven public health professional and non-profit leader motivated to eliminate health, social, and environmental disparities in Black and Brown communities. She is the founder of M4EJ (Millennials for Environmental Justice), a non-profit organization designed to bring awareness to and solutions for dismantling environmental racism.
