CYL Service Adventure
Join the Colorado Young Leaders Northeast and Southeast Denver Chapters for a youth-led, family friendly and Earth friendly day of service to beautify a local park! There's something for everyone during this service project: tree planting, creating community art, and a food box distribution.
What to do upon arrival
- We have a variety of activities taking place during this project: create community art, plant trees in the park with help from the City of Denver Parks and Recreation department, and package/pass out food boxes to families in need
- Each station is spaced out and all teams will be required to practice social distancing.
- We will be asking all participants to take a COVID wellness screening upon check-in to ensure we can stay safe during the event.
What to bring/wear
- It looks like it will be a beautiful day but be prepared for anything!
- Make sure all team members have enough water to get them through the day
- We will be working with dirt and paint! Wear clothes that you're ok with getting dirty.
- Work gloves will be provided by CYL, but feel free to bring your own for tree planting
