Dig Out Your Neighbor in Arapahoe County with Mile High United Way! Shovel snow for a neighbor in need in Arapahoe County. Volunteers are needed to help older adults with mobility challenges by shoveling driveways and walking paths. Make a difference for someone in need in your community. Snowy walkways and driveways create a safety hazard and can even be life-threatening. This program will match you with an older adult in need, within walking or short driving distance from your home. Your help will provide a genuinely needed service to your neighbor with the bonus of a free, feel-good work-out!! Volunteers will: shovel within 24 hours of snowfall that is at least three inches; commit for the winter season and provide their own shovel or snowblower. SIGN UP HERE!
