Colorado Mountain Club Is Hiring
Colorado Mountain Club still has a couple of open spots left for Stewardship Crew Leaders & Technicians based in Steamboat Springs,CO and Salida, CO (field-based positions, crew members do not have to live in either location full-time).
Applicants should have a strong desire to actively engage in a conservation-focused program that will train, challenge and support participants’ growth and development in their pursuit of meaningful careers in the conservation field.
Crew Leaders & Technicians will receive opportunities to work with public land management agencies, non-profits, and volunteers on a wide variety of conservation projects.
Program participants will receive a gear/training stipend and engage in an extensive training period that focuses on enhancing technical project skills, field-based knowledge as well as conservation leadership strategies.
Compensation
- Leader: ($19-22/hr)
- Technicians: ($17.5-19/hr)
