Summer of Service program by AmeriCorps NCCC
For 2022 high school grads and earlier. The program runs June 13 - August 16, and these dates are inclusive of the whole program commitment, from arrival day to departure day.

- No cost to participate! AmeriCorps NCCC will provide all program-related travel expenses, food, lodging, training, uniforms, and a living stipend for members throughout their term. Members will also receive an end-of-service cash award of $1,300.
- This will operate like a “mini AmeriCorps NCCC”, meaning that participation requirements are the same and members will have a similar experience – traveling and serving with a team – but will complete one service project rather than three to five.
- Training will take place at our campus in Aurora. Teams will deploy from here to projects across the U.S.
- Projects will focus on the environment, mitigating climate change, and disaster recovery
- We also have a Serve with a Friend opportunity for the summer program. If both friends are accepted and mutually identify each other as friends, we’ll make every effort to put them on the same team. Super cool way for a pair of friends to spend their summer break!
Application deadline: March 31 (rolling admissions, so applying earlier is in your best interest)
