Every year, thousands of families and dozens of community partner organizations get their seeds from DUG to jumpstart the growing season.
At DUG, we know that growing food is one of the most powerful ways to grow community. That’s why every spring, we distribute tens of thousands of free seed packets to gardeners* across Metro Denver—no cost, no barrier, just an invitation to plant something meaningful. Designed for our high-desert climate and rooted in cultural inclusivity, these seeds nourish more than the soil—they are as a spark: for connection, for resilience, and for the joy of growing together.
*The collection is open to families, non-profit organizations, and governmental agencies. The Community Seed Distribution program is not available for for-profit entities or uses.
