Join students worldwide for an immersive semester in Cape Town where you’ll develop the emotional and intellectual toolkit to create meaningful impact on global issues.

Global Citizen Year is hosting a semester-length program called Take Action Lab where high school graduates (ages 17-21) from across the globe live and learn together in Cape Town, South Africa. There these young people learn how to create a meaningful impact on human rights issues through apprenticeships and our research-backed curriculum.

Expand their global perspective and sense of purpose through a research-backed curriculum, cultural immersion experiences, and apprenticeships with organizations advancing human rights issues.
