HERO Kids Sports

HERO KIDS SPORTS is an innovative, non-competitive sports enrichment program for kids ages 2-12 years old, teaching the fundamentals of sports and the values of teamwork in a fun and encouraging environment. Our HERO Programs have been curated for all skill and play levels supporting our kids in building their confidence through our 11-sport curriculum. Founded in 2015, originating in Massachusetts, founder Mike Simpson "Coach Mike" opened HERO Kids Sports in Colorado as well serving children ages 2-12 years old in a variety of program offerings curated for convenience, engagement and positive youth experience across the Greater Denver and Metro Boston areas.


HERO prioritizes a culturally inclusive, socially emotionally rich environment for all youth by preparing them with important on field and off field skills including cognitive regulation, emotional competencies and social and interpersonal skills.


Our 11 sports include Baseball, Basketball, Football, Floor hockey, Gymnastics, Kickball, Lacrosse, Soccer, Track & Field, Volleyball, Mindfulness Yoga, Gym Games and a variety of fun Obstacle Courses!


HERO COACHES: HERO prioritizes a culturally inclusive, Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) rich environment for all youth and our HERO Coaches by preparing them with skills needed to model social and emotional intelligence through sport. Our approach is to hire, train, develop and support our staff through exemplifying positive leadership, cultivating an encouraging environment based on responsibility and respect. Through a unique child-focused introduction to learning sports, we provide exceptional education in an inspiring atmosphere!

HERO MISSION: To introduce sports at a young age in an encouraging, inspiring and fun educational atmosphere. Our custom program supports the development of confidence, motivation, and a sense of belonging. Inspired by the enthusiasm and energy of the children we coach, our goal is to ‘Inspire the Hero Inside’!

HERO VISION: To implement the most encouraging sports enrichment program for children that Inspires the Hero Inside and to make it available to all children.

HERO Kids Spots offers a variety of programming including partnership and HERO operated programs. Programs include school based programs, park classes, private classes, year round camps and summer camps, virtual programs, birthday parties and more! We come to You! We are successful in accomplishing our mission and vision as we offer a unique curriculum and philosophy both in our sport and program variety as well as how we coach our kiddos. Additionally, the vast variety of HERO programming, flexibility, customer service orientation and communication provide our communities with an experience their child can grow and learn from as young as 2 years old up to 12 years old.
