Who We Are
Extreme Community Makeover coordinates volunteer teams to partner with underserved people to improve their own homes and neighborhoods. These projects build safer environments; cultivate community among residents, neighborhoods, and networks of local resource providers; and connect residents to a permanent path towards healthy, hopeful, and stable lives.

How to get Involved:
Joining Extreme Community Makeover for a Work Day builds volunteerism into your life, while providing the following benefits:
Meet new people. Volunteering alongside others provides opportunities to get to know new people who also enjoy volunteering.
Learn about local communities. Getting involved in projects beyond one’s back door broadens knowledge of other people and places throughout the city.
Become a leader. Developing leadership skills often happens naturally while getting involved in a cause that is important.
Have fun. Getting outside and getting your hands dirty in the company of new friends is a great way to have fun.
