Who We Are
Our story starts in 2010, when our founders saw the issue of food insecurity in our Englewood neighborhood. They opened CAFE 180 with the mission of feeding everyone. Those who can pay, pay. Those who can’t pay give of their time in exchange for lunch, which on an average week amounts to 30-40 percent of our customers.
What We Do
Our non-profit depends on volunteers to run the cafe as we have limited full-time staff. Our volunteers allow us to be able to offer free meals with dignity as well as invite the community into our mission. No special skills are required! We’re just looking for people that enjoy learning, serving in their community and meeting new people.
HOW TO SIGN UP.
We use POINT App to schedule and manage our volunteers.
CREATE AN ACCOUNT

There is also an option to download the app on your phone but this is not necessary (iPhone, Android).
Create your account with your email or Google, Apple or Okta account.
Once logged in, you will see a prompt to “Join an Organization”.
Search "Cafe 180".
Click the orange "Join" button.
Even though you will see a message that says you need to be approved, the approval is automatic and you are ready to sign up.
Click “View”.
You will be taken to available volunteer shifts.
Choose your desired date and time.
First-time volunteers, please sign up for the first shift of the day (9 AM - 12 PM).
